Dr. Itzhak Shalev
Dr. Itzhak Shalev holds a Bachelor's degree in Textile Chemistry from Shenkar College and a Ph.D.
in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University.
He has served as Head of the Department of Industrial Chemistry and as Dean of Student Affairs at Shenkar College,
as Chairman of the Israel Textile Association and is Visiting Associate Professor at the College of Textiles at NCSU.
Dr. Salev is CEO of ZzaKey Technologies Ltd. , a technology transfer company. He has published over 50
papers and patents and is active in industrial R&D in the fields of high performance fibers, flame retardancy and finishing technology.
